We like to keep things personal here at Yoyosno, the team behind the business will also be your personal hosts and your ski and yoga instructors on retreat!

Yoyosno is the creation of professional skier and top level British ski instructor, Amy Marwick, and yoga teacher and expert mover and shaker, Lauren Anderson. Combining our expertise and passion for mountains and movement, we have created a holiday that we would be really excited to go on ourselves. It is designed to develop your technical ski performance and deepen the connection between your mind and body - a few things that we are really passionate about.

I learnt to ski as a young child and have spent the last 10 years exploring and working in mountains all around the world, teaching people of all ages and abilities. I'm a fully certified ski instructor in both the French and British systems holding the BASI Level 4 ISTD and Carte Professional. I've spent my entire working career in the ski industry, beginning with hosting ski chalets and moving on to working in numerous ski schools. I now work independently as a ski instructor and ski touring guide in France and in Scotland.
I've spent seven winters exploring the Portes du Soleil, so I'm very familiar with all the best ski spots, the slopes and terrain to suit particular ski abilities. I can't wait to show you around!
My aim at Yoyosno is to strengthen that connection between body and mind, in order to overcome blockages and help you develop, but most of all to have fun and to help you truly enjoy your ski experience. Our retreats are ideal for people looking for a fresh approach to developing their ski performance by exploring the link between difficulties we might experience in our daily lives or on the mat and out on the snow. Keep up with me @amywhereoutthere

I began my education in movement at the Royal Ballet School in London. Throughout my professional career as a ballet dancer I performed with the Royal Ballet, Scottish Ballet, English National Ballet and other companies around Europe.

Since hanging up my pointe shoes, I now teach Vinyasa Flow, Power Yoga, Yin and Nidra and I am registered by the Yoga Alliance. I am also a registered STOTT Pilates advanced mat work instructor. I love combining my knowledge of the body and movement to help clients improve strength, flexibility and enhance the connection between the body and mind.

The mental and physical constraints and pressures of life as a classical ballet dancer opened my eyes to the balancing and comforting effects of yoga and having a mindfulness practice. And this can be hugely helpful when facing our fears or challenging our skills on the mountain too. I believe that movement is a medicine for creating a better balance and understanding of a person’s physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. My aim at Yoyoysno is to use movement and mindfulness to not only prepare ourselves physically, but tohelp us face our fears and emotional boundaries that arise on the mountain. Follow my adventures on @rock_a_barre_retreats

H.Holderness make beautiful ski thermals that double as comfy leggings for yoga, fitness training and they are great for lounging in the chalet or hitting up the apres ski bar in too! Their team have kitted out our instructors for the winter. You can check out some samples at our promotional events throughout the year.

We work together with Prestige Mountain Chalets every season. Their premier chalet, Belle Chery, has been home to our retreats from the beginning and it has everything we need for an unforgettable retreat.
